Job Details:
  • Under minimal supervision, perform and interpret a variety of diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures including m-mode, 2-D real time imaging and Doppler techniques (pulsed, CW, and color). Knowledge of intracardiac anatomy and some understanding of congenital heart disease. Knowledge and ability generally acquired through two years of college with an emphasis on the cardiopulmonary sciences and skills consistent with the level required for general medical sonography registration. Between 3 and 6 months clinical experience in cardiac sonography.
